What Makes Worms WMD Stand Out

Worms WMD brings back the classic turn-based artillery gameplay with a gorgeous hand-drawn 2D look. In our playthrough, the 30 campaign levels ramped up difficulty nicely, and the new vehicles—tanks and helicopters—changed how we approached each map. The crafting system lets you build weapons on the fly, which adds a layer of resource management we didn't expect but appreciated.

You get 80 weapons and utilities, including old favorites like the Concrete Donkey and Holy Hand Grenade. Multiplayer supports up to six players (five opponents) with eight worms each, locally or online, including ranked matches. We tested a few online games and found the netcode stable, though matchmaking took a moment during off-peak hours.

We've organized the available downloads by region and version. The USA version (CUSA04047) is at v1.13 and includes the game, update 1.13, and DLC. The EUR version (CUSA04022) comes in two builds: v1.11 with game, update, and DLC, and v1.10 with the base game. All links point to reputable file hosts. Passwords are provided where required.

In our experience, the v1.13 USA build is the most complete, but the EUR v1.11 is equally playable. If you're in Europe, grab the EUR version for potentially better performance. The v1.10 build is older but works if you want a smaller download.

Installation Guidance

Take on up to five opponents in hilarious all-out tactical worm warfare with up to eight worms each, either in local or online multiplayer, including ranked play. Flatten your opponents with the Concrete Donkey. Turn them into chunks of worm meat with the Holy Hand Grenade. Rain down hell from above in helicopters or pound them into oblivion with the tank. With 80 weapons and utilities at your fingertips, this is Worms at its chaotic best!
