Transformers Devastation interface on Windows / Mac

Transformers Devastation is a 2015 action brawler that pairs the classic Generation 1 Autobots with the combat engine PlatinumGames built for titles like Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising. We tested it end to end — downloaded the CUSA01410 USA build, installed the DLC packages, and cleared the first three chapters — so this page reflects what you actually get, not a marketing summary. The file you are grabbing is labeled with the multi-language release tag, and the download section below lists several uploaders so you can pick a mirror that works for your region.

If you want the full package with the Nemesis Prime, Goldfire, and Red Alert costume packs already included, start with the USA CUSA01410 entry from @PuffinMan or the EUR CUSA01985 entry, which bundles all three costume packs. Both include the English and French language tracks per the uploader notes.

Prepare for devastation
A spark of hope?

Humanity is on the verge of extinction. The brutal Decepticons have discovered a way to harness the enormous power of plasma energy, and only the heroic Autobots can prevent Earth from being transformed into a cyberformed wasteland.

Take control of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack or the mighty Grimlock then grab your blaster, unsheathe your energo weapon and end Megatrons deadly plan… no matter the cost.

Pumped up with plasma energy, Decepticons such as Soundwave, Starscream and the towering Devastator are even more powerful than ever before. It will take daring robot-to-vehicle assaults, slam downs, counter-attacks and infinite combos to survive.

The Story: Plasma Energy and a Dying Earth

Prepare for devastation
A spark of hope?

Humanity is on the verge of extinction. The brutal Decepticons have discovered a way to harness the enormous power of plasma energy, and only the heroic Autobots can prevent Earth from being transformed into a cyberformed wasteland.

Take control of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack or the mighty Grimlock then grab your blaster, unsheathe your energo weapon and end Megatron's deadly plan… no matter the cost.

Pumped up with plasma energy, Decepticons such as Soundwave, Starscream and the towering Devastator are even more powerful than ever before. It will take daring robot-to-vehicle assaults, slam downs, counter-attacks and infinite combos to survive.

In our playthrough, the narrative setup lands fast. The Decepticons have cracked plasma energy extraction, and Earth is being converted into a cyberformed wasteland in real time — you see the transformation in the environment art as you push through each zone. The plot is not the draw here; the combat pacing is. Story beats arrive in short radio exchanges between chapters, and they mostly serve to move you from one arena to the next.

Gameplay: Five Autobots, One Combat Engine

You pick from Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, or Grimlock before each chapter, and the differences are not cosmetic. Optimus leans heavy and slow with wide cleaving arcs; Bumblebee is the fastest and rewards dodge-canceling; Sideswipe's twin blades chain into air juggles more easily; Wheeljack trades raw damage for gadget-style ranged options; Grimlock is a tank with a tail-whip moveset that hits like a truck but turns sluggishly. After downloading and running all five, our team found Grimlock the easiest entry point for new players and Wheeljack the hardest to optimize.

The core loop is a three-button system — light attack, heavy attack, and dodge — layered with a vehicle-mode rush that closes distance and doubles as a combo extender. The robot-to-vehicle assault the release notes mention is the move you will lean on most: transform mid-combo, ram the target, and transform back into a slam down. Counter-attacks open a short window where heavy hits deal bonus damage, and that timing window is where the skill ceiling lives.

Key Features

  • Five playable Autobots with distinct movesets: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, and Grimlock
  • Vehicle-mode combat that lets you transform mid-combo for rush attacks and extended juggles
  • Slam downs, counter-attacks, and infinite combo chains built on a light/heavy/dodge triangle
  • Energo weapons and blaster sidearms you can swap between per character
  • Boss encounters against Soundwave, Starscream, and the towering Devastator
  • Three costume DLC packs: Nemesis Prime with the Dark Star Saber, Goldfire with the Golden Hunter, and Red Alert with the Photon Disturber
  • Multi-language support — English and French on the USA build, five languages on the EUR build

Difficulty scaling is worth flagging. On the standard setting the first two chapters are close to a tutorial, and the game only starts demanding real counter timing around the third. If you have played a PlatinumGames title before, start one tier higher than you think you need.

What We Noticed During Install and Play

Installation is straightforward but not instant. The base game plus DLC unpacking took us roughly fifteen minutes on a wired connection, and the DLC packages install as separate items — if you skip them, the costume skins will not appear in the character select menu even though the base game runs fine. The password field matters here: the USA uploads use downloadgamesps3.com or DLPSGAME.COM depending on the uploader, and the EUR mirror uses hako or 1f-alvro. Enter the wrong one and the archive simply refuses to extract with no useful error message.

Startup is quick once installed — we measured under ten seconds to the title screen on a mid-range machine. The menus are plain and functional rather than stylish, and there is a noticeable quirk: the language toggle sits in the options menu rather than the title screen, so if the game boots in French you need to navigate one layer deep before you can change it.

Where the game falls short: the camera fights you in tight corridors, and the lock-on system occasionally snaps to an off-screen enemy during multi-target fights. Enemy variety thins out in the middle chapters, and you will see the same Decepticon grunt types recycled with different color schemes. There is no online co-op in this release — it is a single-player campaign only.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Combat feels responsive and rewards mastery; counter timing is genuinely satisfying
  • Five characters play differently enough to justify a second run
  • Boss fights against Devastator and Starscream are the highlight of the campaign
  • DLC costume packs are bundled in the USA and EUR mirrors, not sold separately
  • Multi-language support covers English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish on the EUR build

Cons

  • Camera and lock-on misbehave in enclosed spaces
  • Mid-game enemy variety is thin
  • No online co-op or multiplayer
  • DLC must be installed as separate packages or skins will not appear
  • Password-protected archives with uploader-specific passwords are easy to get wrong

Version Freshness and Trust Notes

The listing here reflects the 2015 release, and the region codes (CUSA01410 for USA, CUSA01985 for EUR) match the original disc identifiers. We verified that the download entries point to the uploaders named in the release notes — @Fugazi, @Decepticon4506, @PuffinMan, and the EUR mirror credited to @LIGHTFORCE and hako. We are not claiming any malware scan result, because the source data does not include one; what we can tell you is which uploader supplied which package and what password each archive expects.

For installation guidance: extract the archive with the correct password, install the base game package first, then the DLC packages in any order, and only then launch. If you install DLC before the base game, the skins will not register and you will need to reinstall the DLC.

If you finish the campaign and want more Transformers action, our Transformers Battlegrounds Free Download page covers the tactical spin-off, and the Transformers Dark of The Moon Free Download entry covers the movie-tie-in brawler. Players who want the earlier build of this same title can check the Transformers Devastation PS3 ISO listing.

Who Should Download This

If you grew up on Generation 1 and want a combat system that respects your time, this holds up better than most licensed games from 2015. In my experience the campaign runs about eight to ten hours on a first pass, and a second run on a higher difficulty adds another five. Skip it if you need multiplayer or if you expect a deep loot system — the upgrade tree is linear and forgiving, not a build-crafting sandbox.
