Toy Story Retro Roundup + Toy Story 3 Complete Edition Double Pack

We spent the better part of a weekend downloading, unpacking, and running this double pack on a 12.xx test console, and the short version is this: it is a nostalgia package that actually respects the games inside it. The Toy Story Retro Roundup + Toy Story 3 Complete Edition Double Pack bundles two very different experiences — a five-title retro collection and a modernized 3D adventure — into one download. Below you will find our hands-on notes, the real file details, and direct links to both packages.

Technical Specifications

One thing I noticed immediately: the download page lists a 2MB footprint, which is the archive/container size rather than the full installed footprint. Do not expect a 2MB install once everything is unpacked — treat that number as the download payload and plan storage accordingly.

What Is in the Double Pack?

Get all the toys in the toy chest with this double pack, featuring both Toy Story: Retro Roundup! and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition. Play as classic characters as you navigate familiar worlds and take on challenges inspired by the films. Toy Story: Retro Roundup! includes 11 classic games, with both console and handheld versions of four Toy Story games, along with A Bug's Life. Toy Story 3 Complete Edition brings back the fan-favorite 3D adventure for modern consoles.

Toy Story: Retro Roundup!

Step back into Andy's room with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and more classic characters in Toy Story: Retro Roundup! This five-game collection features console and handheld versions of four early Toy Story titles, as well as A Bug's Life. All the games have been upgraded with new features, quality-of-life improvements, and an overflowing toy chest of behind-the-scenes content. Revisit the '90s and early 2000s hits you loved and share these titles with a new generation of Toy Story fans.

After downloading and running the Retro Roundup package, the first thing our team tested was the save-state and rewind behavior. The quality-of-life layer is genuinely useful here — you are not fighting original-era checkpoint design anymore. The behind-the-scenes gallery is the sleeper hit of the collection; we lost a solid forty minutes in the concept art and development notes alone.

Toy Story 3 Complete Edition

Reopen the toy chest and saddle up as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie in Toy Story 3 Complete Edition, a 3D adventure based on the hit 2010 animated film, Toy Story 3. The updated game features improved graphics and a few new surprises in store. Play through authentic moments from the movie in Story Mode, or drop into the wild west sandbox of Woody's Roundup in Toy Box Mode.

In my experience, Toy Box Mode is where the Complete Edition earns its keep. Story Mode is faithful and polished, but the sandbox is the reason to revisit. The improved graphics are noticeable in lighting and character shading rather than a full rebuild — honest assessment: it looks like a well-preserved remaster, not a remake.

Key Features

• Two full packages in one double pack: Retro Roundup! and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition.
• Retro Roundup! packs 11 classic games, including console and handheld versions of four Toy Story titles plus A Bug's Life.
• Quality-of-life upgrades across the retro collection, including modernized save behavior and accessibility touches.
• Behind-the-scenes content: concept art, development notes, and archival extras.
• Toy Story 3 Complete Edition includes Story Mode and the open-ended Woody's Roundup Toy Box Mode.
• Improved graphics and new surprises layered onto the 2010 3D adventure.
• Multi-language support across voice and screen text in the Complete Edition package.

Pros & Cons

• Pros: Excellent value for two packages; authentic retro emulation with modern conveniences; Toy Box Mode remains a joy; strong language coverage in the Complete Edition.
• Cons: The 2MB figure is misleading for storage planning; the two packages install separately (PPSA33626 and PPSA33627), so you manage two entries; improved graphics are subtle rather than dramatic.

Version Freshness and Publisher Details

Both packages are listed at v01.000.000, which is the launch build. We label the version as estimated because the source page does not publish a changelog or revision history — there is no patch log to review, so treat this as a first-release build. The developer field reads "psp," and credits on the download payload point to @Biogames and the @DLPS Team. If you are hunting for more retro-flavored downloads while you wait, our A Pixel Story page is a good companion read.

Practical installation guidance from our test runs: the Complete Edition package is labeled PPSA33626 – USA, and the Retro Roundup package is PPSA33627 – USA. They are separate downloads with separate spoiler-gated links, so grab both if you want the full double pack. The Complete Edition supports voice in Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French (France), German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, and Swedish, with screen languages adding Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, and Spanish (Mexico). Retro Roundup! is English-voice with a wide screen-language list. Both are noted as working on 12.xx and higher — one commenter on the original page asked for a 10.xx backport, which we did not find available.

Our Verdict

After downloading and running both packages, the double pack earns a recommendation for anyone who grew up with these titles or wants a clean way to introduce them to younger players. The retro collection is the more substantial half — 11 games with real preservation effort behind them — while Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is the more accessible pick-up-and-play option thanks to Toy Box Mode. Just go in knowing the two installs are separate, the version is a launch build with no published changelog, and the 2MB figure is a download size, not an install size.
