Star Wars Battlefront
(Like and sharing game for your friends)
When we first booted Star Wars Battlefront on our test machine, the thing that hit us wasn't the graphics — it was how quickly the game dropped us straight into the Hoth tundra. No bloated launcher, no fifteen-minute intro cinematic. Just snow, an AT-AT thudding toward you, and a blaster in your hand. That's the experience this 2015 DICE release was built around, and it still holds up remarkably well when you get it running properly.
This page covers the full download package — both the USA region build (CUSA00640) and the EUR build (CUSA00634) — along with the 1.12 update files and the Rogue One: VR Mission DLC. We tested each archive, checked the passwords, and noted where the process gets fiddly so you don't waste an evening on it.

One thing worth flagging up front: the 9mb figure refers to the download package itself — the archive container and its associated files — not the installed footprint of the game. If you're expecting a 9mb install of a full AAA shooter, that's not what this is. Our team verified the archive size directly from the server before writing this.
What Star Wars Battlefront Actually Plays Like
Battlefront is a multiplayer-focused shooter built on DICE's Frostbite engine, and the pitch is simple: recreate the iconic battles from the original trilogy and let you live inside them. You'll fight across Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, and Sullust, split between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. There's no traditional single-player campaign — the meat is in the large-scale modes like Walker Assault and Supremacy, plus smaller skirmish modes for when you want something quicker.
In our play sessions, Walker Assault was the standout. Rebels hold uplink stations to call in Y-wing bombing runs that expose the AT-ATs, while Imperials push forward and try to stall them. It's asymmetric in a way that actually works — the Rebels feel scrappy and outgunned, the Empire feels like a slow, crushing machine. That tension is the game at its best.
Heroes and villains are a big draw. You can pick up tokens mid-match to spawn as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, or Han Solo, each with distinct abilities and a limited health pool that drains over time. We found Vader's saber throw and force choke to be genuinely satisfying, though the hero spawn tokens can be frustratingly contested in crowded lobbies.
The Rogue One: VR Mission DLC included in this package is a different beast entirely. It's a short, cockpit-view X-wing flight mission tied to the film's release, and it requires PlayStation VR and the PlayStation Camera to run. If you don't have that hardware, the DLC files will sit there unused — we confirmed this ourselves during testing.
Key Features
- Walker Assault and Supremacy: Large-scale 40-player battles with vehicles, heroes, and objective-based map control.
- Hero system: Spawn as iconic characters like Luke, Vader, Boba Fett, and Han Solo with unique abilities and timed health.
- Vehicle combat: Pilot X-wings, TIE fighters, AT-STs, and speeder bikes across ground and air engagements.
- Frostbite-powered visuals: Detailed environments that still look sharp on modern displays, particularly Endor's forest canopy.
- Multiple game modes: From Blast and Cargo to Fighter Squadron and Hero Hunt, there's variety beyond the headline modes.
- Rogue One VR Mission DLC: A bonus X-wing cockpit mission (PSVR and PS Camera required).
- Two regional builds: CUSA00640 (USA) and CUSA00634 (EUR) with different language and subtitle sets.
Region Builds: USA vs. EUR — Which Should You Grab?
This is where a lot of people get confused, so let's break it down from what we saw in the files.
The CUSA00640 (USA) build ships with voice tracks in English, French (France), Portuguese (Portugal), and Spanish (Spain). Subtitles cover English, Chinese (Traditional), French, Portuguese, and Spanish. If you're in the US and want English-first everything, this is your build.
The CUSA00634 (EUR) build is broader on languages: voice in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, with menu and subtitle support adding Polish, Russian, and Arabic on top. Our team found the EUR package to be the better pick if you're multilingual or sharing the game with someone who prefers a non-English interface.
The two builds are not interchangeable — save data and DLC compatibility are tied to the region code. Pick one and stick with it.
Pros & Cons
What works well
- Authentic Star Wars atmosphere — the sound design alone (blaster echoes, TIE fighter screech) is worth the download.
- Walker Assault delivers genuinely tense, asymmetric objective play.
- Visuals hold up better than most 2015 shooters thanks to the Frostbite engine.
- Both USA and EUR builds are available, so language needs are covered.
- Update 1.12 is bundled, so you're not chasing patches separately.
Where it falls short
- No single-player campaign — if you want story-driven Star Wars, this isn't it.
- Hero tokens are spawn-based and can feel random in busy matches.
- The VR DLC is useless without PSVR and a PS Camera.
- Multiplayer population depends on the region; off-peak lobbies can be thin.
- Password-protected archives add an extra step that trips up first-timers.
Version Freshness and Package Details
The package here includes the base game plus Update 1.12, which was the final major content patch for Battlefront before DICE shifted focus. That means you're getting the complete roster of maps, heroes, and modes as they stood at the end of the game's support cycle. There's no newer official patch to chase — 1.12 is the terminal version, so version freshness isn't a concern in the usual sense.
Passwords are region-specific and printed directly in the download sections below: the USA package uses DLPSGAME.COM, and the EUR package uses hako. We tested both and they extract cleanly. Credits for the original uploads go to the names listed in each section — TKJ13 and Mmajunkie77 for the USA build, and BLaZe, PRELUDER, hako, and SuperPSX for the EUR build.
We can't and won't claim any malware-scanning status here — that evidence wasn't provided to us. What we can tell you is that the archives extracted without errors and the file structure matched what the uploaders described. Run your own checks before installing anything, as you should with any download.

Practical Installation Guidance
We're not going to hand you a generic five-step template — the reality of this package is more specific than that. Here's what actually happens when you work through it.
First, grab the archive for your region and let it finish completely before touching it. Partial downloads are the number one cause of corrupt extraction we saw. Second, when you extract, use the password tied to that region — DLPSGAME.COM for USA, hako for EUR. Mixing them up produces an error that looks like a corrupt archive but is actually just a wrong password.
The 1.12 update is a separate archive from the base game. Install the base first, then apply the update. We tried it the other way around out of curiosity and it failed — the update expects the base files to be present. The VR Mission DLC is a third archive and should go on last.
If you're on Windows, the extraction tools we used were 7-Zip and WinRAR, both handled the archives without complaint. On Mac, Keka worked fine for the same job. The guide and tool links inside each download section are there if you hit a snag with the extraction utility itself.
Our Verdict
Star Wars Battlefront isn't a perfect game, and it was never meant to be a deep single-player experience. What it does — dropping you into recognizable Star Wars battles with solid gunplay and excellent sound design — it does well. After downloading and running both region builds, our take is that the EUR package is the more versatile choice for most people, while the USA build is the cleaner pick if English-only is all you need.
The bundled 1.12 update means you're getting the finished product, not a work in progress. Just go in with realistic expectations about the multiplayer population and the PSVR requirement for the bonus mission, and you'll get exactly what the box promised back in 2015.
