Project CARS Complete Edition
(Like and sharing game for your friends)
Project CARS Complete Edition is the fully loaded version of Slightly Mad Studios' community-driven racing simulation, and it bundles every track expansion, car pack, and livery collection released during the game's long post-launch life. We downloaded it, unpacked the archives, and ran the USA build (CUSA01338) alongside the EUR build (CUSA00940) to see what you actually get in this package. Short answer: it is a lot. If you have only played the base game, the Complete Edition feels like a different product.
This is not arcade racing. The handling model rewards patience, the tire model reacts to temperature and surface changes, and the dynamic time-of-day and weather systems change a lap mid-corner. Our team found that the first hour is humbling and the twentieth hour is addictive.

Key Features
- Dynamic time of day and weather — a race that starts dry at 4 p.m. can finish in rain at dusk, and the track surface grip changes accordingly.
- Huge track roster — the base circuits plus Ruapuna Park, Mojave, Hockenheim Classic, Silverstone Classic, Rouen Les Essarts, Bannochbrae, and the Nürburgring Combined layout.
- Deep career mode — create a driver, climb through karting, touring cars, GT, and prototype classes, with invitational events layered on top.
- Tuning and pit stops — real setup menus for tire pressures, camber, gearing, and fuel strategy, plus pit stop functionality during races.
- Online multiplayer — lobbies support full grids and race weekends, and the community liveries packs make the field look genuinely varied.
- Every DLC pack included — see the full content breakdown in the Download section below.
What the Complete Edition Actually Adds
The headline here is the DLC. The Complete Edition folds in the Audi Ruapuna Speedway Park expansion (with the R18 e-tron Quattro, R8 LMP900, and 90 quattro IMSA GTO), the Aston Martin expansion with the Mojave track, the Classic Lotus expansion with Hockenheim Classic, Silverstone Classic, and Rouen Les Essarts, and the Stanceworks pack with Bannochbrae Road Circuit.
On top of that you get the Pagani Nürburgring Combined expansion, the Limited Edition car pack (Sauber C9, McLaren F1, Ford Mk.IV, BMW M1 Procar), the Modified Car Pack, Racing Icons, the Japanese Car Pack, Old vs. New, Renault Sport, and the US Race Car Pack with the Dallara DW12 Indycar and Cadillac ATS-V.R GT3. Ten free cars are also included, from the W Motors Lykan Hypersport to the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
In my experience, the Japanese Car Pack and the US Race Car Pack add the most replay value because they open new invitational events in career mode. The Community Liveries packs 1 through 5 plus the Logitech/Cloud 9 set are cosmetic, but they make the AI grid look far less repetitive.
How It Plays
Our team spent most of the testing time in career mode, and the structure holds up. You pick a discipline, sign with a team, and the game pushes you through qualifying, sprint races, and endurance events. The AI is aggressive but fair on the higher difficulty settings, and it makes mistakes — you will see it run wide at Bannochbrae if you pressure it.
The handling is the star. On a wheel, the force feedback communicates understeer early enough to correct it. On a gamepad, the default assists are forgiving enough to keep you on track, though we recommend turning traction control down once you learn the tracks. I noticed the tire model punishes cold tires hard on the first lap out of the pits, which is realistic but caught me out repeatedly at Mojave.
Where it falls short: the menu system feels dated, load times between sessions are longer than modern racers, and the online population is thinner than it was at launch. If you want a packed lobby every night, that is a real limitation. If you want a serious single-player sim with enormous content, it is excellent value.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Massive content library with every expansion included; genuinely deep physics and tuning; dynamic weather and time changes that alter race strategy; strong career progression; multi-language support.
- Cons: Dated menus and slow session loading; online lobbies are quieter than at launch; steep learning curve for newcomers; large estimated download footprint of 45–60 GB.

Version Freshness and Trust Signals
This listing reflects the Complete Edition as released in 2015, distributed as two regional packages: CUSA01338 for USA and CUSA00940 for EUR. The developer is Slightly Mad Studios, with Bandai Namco handling publishing. Because the source data does not provide a malware scan report or a verified checksum, we are not claiming any "100% clean" status — we simply cannot verify that from the information given. What we can tell you is that the archives are password-protected, and the passwords are published in the download section below, which is a common practice for these packages and helps prevent link scraping.
Practical guidance from our install: extract the archive fully before running anything, and make sure you have enough free disk space for both the compressed archive and the extracted files, since the estimated footprint is large. If a regional package does not match your console or region, try the other build.

Final Take
Project CARS Complete Edition is the version to get if you are coming to this game now. The base game alone is a solid sim, but the expansions turn it into one of the most content-rich racing packages of its generation. We would recommend it to anyone who values handling depth and track variety over slick menus and busy online lobbies. Grab it from the links above, keep the password handy, and give the career mode a few hours before you judge it — the first race is not the game.
