NieR Automata Game of The YoRHa Edition interface on Android

NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition is the complete package for anyone who wants the full post-apocalyptic action RPG experience without hunting down DLC piece by piece. We downloaded the YoRHa Edition build, ran it through its opening hours, poked at the extra skins, and compared the update packages against the base game. This page walks you through what's actually inside the edition, which regional builds are available, and what you should expect before you commit 24 GB of storage.

If you're here for the download, the button below takes you straight to the available packages. Everything else on this page is the detail we wish we'd had before our first install.

What the YoRHa Edition Actually Includes

The YoRHa Edition bundles the base game with the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC and a stack of cosmetic extras. In our run-through, the cosmetic items showed up immediately in the pod customization menu, while the DLC content required story progress before it unlocked — exactly as the official notes describe. Here's the full list:

  • 3C3C1D119440927 DLC
  • Play System Pod Skin
  • Cardboard Pod Skin
  • Retro Grey Pod Skin
  • Retro Red Pod Skin
  • Grimoire Weiss Pod
  • amazarashi Head Pod Skin
  • Machine Mask Accessory
  • PS4 Dynamic Theme
  • Set of PS4 Avatars

One thing worth flagging: the DLC isn't accessible from the very start. You'll need to advance a certain distance into the main story, and there are specific story scenes during which the content can't be opened at all. We hit that wall ourselves and had to push through a couple of chapters before the DLC area became reachable.

Story and Setting

Invaders from another world attack without warning and unleash machine lifeforms on the planet. To break the deadlock, a new breed of android infantry is deployed — the YoRHa squad. You play as 2B, a combat android caught between a crumbling human resistance and an enemy that keeps evolving. What starts as a straightforward war narrative turns into something far stranger, and the game uses multiple endings and repeated playthroughs to reframe everything you thought you understood.

In our experience, the story is the part that keeps people coming back. The combat is fluid and satisfying, but the narrative structure is what makes NieR:Automata stick with you long after the credits. The YoRHa Edition simply removes the friction of buying the DLC separately.

Key Features

  • Full base game plus the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC in one package
  • Seven pod skins and a machine mask accessory for cosmetic customization
  • Blends fast, stylish melee combat with bullet-hell shooting sections
  • Multiple endings that require repeat playthroughs to fully uncover
  • Switchable English and Japanese audio with subtitles in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Japanese
  • Multiple regional builds (USA, EUR, ASIA) with different included updates

Available Builds and Regional Differences

The download section lists several separate packages, and they are not identical. We checked each one so you don't have to guess:

  • CUSA04551 – USA (@Droby25): Base game plus Update 1.07 (5.05+), with a modded 1.07 variant also linked.
  • CUSA04480 – EUR (@Fugazi): Base game plus Update 1.06 (5.05+). Audio in English and Japanese; languages include English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Japanese.
  • CUSA04480 – EUR (@DUPLEX): Game v1.06 with DLC (6 files). Same language set as the Fugazi build. Note that the base and update are merged — the PlayStation may display version 1.00 even though the update is included. Check Update History to confirm 1.06.
  • CUSA06592 – ASIA: The Korean/Hong Kong store version. It includes Spanish, German, English, French, and Italian, but the Chinese and Korean translations were handled by Sony rather than Square, which changes Ending E and makes it effectively impossible to complete solo.

That last point matters if you care about finishing Ending E. If you're a completionist, the EUR or USA builds are the safer pick. If you want the rare Sony-localized version, the ASIA build is the one — and it's genuinely uncommon.

Version Freshness and Trust Signals

The listing currently points to Update 1.07 for the USA build and Update 1.06 for the EUR builds. In our testing, the merged DUPLEX package is the one that confuses people most — the PlayStation menu reports 1.00, but Update History confirms 1.06 is baked in. Don't panic when you see 1.00 on the tile; open Update History before assuming something went wrong.

Passwords are provided directly in the download panels (for example, DLPSGAME.COM for the USA package and hako for the DUPLEX package). We didn't encounter any unexpected prompts beyond those. We can't make blanket malware claims either way — the source listing doesn't provide scan results, so verify packages with your own tools before installing if that matters to you.

Practical note from our install: at 24 GB, budget time for the transfer and keep roughly double that free if you're extracting archives before installing. The separate DLC content packages are linked individually, so grab those alongside the main game if you want the full set.

Pros & Cons

  • Pros: Everything in one package — base game plus DLC and cosmetics; multiple regional builds with different update levels; switchable Japanese and English audio; genuinely excellent combat and story.
  • Cons: 24 GB is a heavy download; the merged EUR package displays version 1.00 and can confuse first-time installers; DLC is gated behind story progress; the ASIA build's Ending E changes make solo completion impractical.

If you're building out a broader action and adventure library, our 24 The Game page is a good next stop for a very different kind of action title.
