The story sends you on a globe-trotting quest to find the Staff of Moses, a biblical artifact with immense power. You'll travel through exotic locations, battle ruthless enemies, and solve intricate puzzles using Indy's signature whip and your wits.
The game originally launched on the PlayStation 2, and this PS5 version preserves the original experience while adding modern emulation features. The up-rendering improves clarity on high-definition screens, and the custom video filters let you adjust the look to your preference. Rewind and quick save are particularly useful for tricky platforming sections or when you want to experiment without fear of losing progress.
Combat revolves around the whip, which you can use to disarm foes, swing across chasms, and interact with the environment. Puzzles often require creative use of your surroundings, and the game encourages you to think like an adventurer. The story is presented through cutscenes and in-game dialogue, with voice work in English and subtitles in multiple languages.
If you enjoy classic action-adventure games with a strong narrative, this title is a solid choice. It captures the spirit of the Indiana Jones films and offers a substantial single-player campaign.
