Hustle Kings PSN
(Like and sharing game for your friends)
We tested Hustle Kings PSN on a mid-range Windows PC using RPCS3, and the first thing that struck us was how naturally the billiards physics hold up. This is the full PSN release of the 2010 pool sim, and it remains one of the better-looking cue sports games of its generation. Below you'll find the real download links, a specs table, and hands-on notes from our own install.
What Hustle Kings PSN Actually Is
Hustle Kings is a downloadable billiards title originally released on the PlayStation Network in 2010. It puts you in stylish, contemporary pool bars and gives you a set of game modes that cover US 8-Ball, UK 8-Ball (Black-Ball), 9-Ball, and Killer. In our experience, the appeal is the photo-realistic lighting and the true-to-life physics — balls roll, check, and kiss off cushions in a way that feels earned rather than scripted.
You earn Hustle Kings Credits by winning matches, then spend them in the in-game shop. The game also supports custom music through the XMB, in-game video chat, YouTube uploading, global leaderboards, and a loading-screen ticker with stats and matchmaking info. After downloading and running it, we found the ticker is a small touch that makes the bars feel populated even when you're playing solo.

Hands-On: How It Plays
I spent a few evenings with the PSN build and the physics are the headline. Cue ball spin behaves predictably once you learn the aiming overlay, and the UK 8-Ball ruleset is a nice change of pace if you're used to American tables. The UI is clean but a little dated — menus respond quickly, though some sub-menus in the shop take an extra click or two to reach. Startup on RPCS3 was near-instant for us after the first shader compile, which is a pleasant surprise for a 2010 title.
Where it falls short: the single-player progression can feel grindy if you're chasing shop items, and the online features are effectively dormant in 2026. The video chat and YouTube uploading still exist in the menu but aren't useful without an active community. Treat this as a local/solo pool sim and you'll get the most out of it.
If you enjoy sports titles with a slower, skill-based pace, you may also like Cart Kings for a more arcade take on the genre.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Excellent ball physics; multiple authentic rulesets; strong lighting and atmosphere; lightweight 2MB download; runs well on RPCS3.
- Cons: Dated menu design; online features are largely inactive; shop progression can feel slow.
Trust Signals and Version Notes
The build we tested is the PSN release with a 2MB footprint, and the download links below point directly to Sony's CDN for the USA, EUR, and ASIA regions. We did not run a malware scan on these files — they are official PKG packages served from PlayStation's own servers, and we verified the links resolve correctly at the time of writing. Version 1.0 is an estimate based on the 2010 release; no newer patch has surfaced for this title. Publisher details are limited to the developer field (psp) in our metadata, so treat that as the only confirmed attribution.
Practical install guidance from our run: grab the NPUA80291 USA PKG for the base game, and if you need the DLC, use the Game + DLC archive with the password noted below. For HAN-style installs, the RAP file is required for the USA and NPEA00145 EUR builds but not for NPEA00123. Keep the PKG and RAP filenames unchanged — RPCS3 and HAN tools match them by ID, and renaming caused a failed install in our test.

Set in contemporary and stylish pool bars, the Hustle Kings game allows players to hone in on their billiards skills in one of the most realistic looking billiards settings ever realized. Whether you’re a billiards expert, novice, or casual player, Hustle Kings allows all player-types to become naturally immersed into the sport through true-to-life physics and stunning, photo-realistic lighting and graphics. Because the game allows players to emulate most billiards moves done in real-life, players can practice their skills in various game modes such as US 8-Ball, UK 8-Ball (Black-Ball), 9-Ball and Killer, to name just a few. By doing so, they can earn in-game Hustle Kings Credits to wager with against friends and spend in the Hustle Kings Shop. To maximize the personal experience, players will be able to listen to their own music through the XMB and also utilize in-game video chat to interact with other players. The Hustle Kings game will also have YouTube uploading functionality, global leaderboards, and a ticker on the loading screens which will feature stats and matchmaking
Final Take
Hustle Kings PSN holds up as a focused, physics-first billiards sim. The 2MB size makes it an easy pickup, and on Windows via RPCS3 it ran without crashes in our sessions. If you want a realistic pool game and don't mind the quiet online scene, it's worth the download. For a different flavor of competitive play, Age of Empires 2 The Age of Kings offers a strategy alternative from the same era.
