Is Black & Bruised completely free?

Yes. The download is listed as free on this page. The game itself is a 2003 PlayStation 2 release, so you are downloading an archived disc image rather than a commercially supported product.

How do I install Black & Bruised?

On Windows, extract the archive using the password 1f-alvro, then load the resulting ISO into a PS2 emulator configured with a BIOS file. On PS3 or PS4, follow the PS2 Classics guides linked in the download sections and confirm compatibility for your platform first.

What is the archive password?

The password for the 1fichier-hosted files is 1f-alvro. Apply it during extraction, not after.

Which version should I download?

Choose the USA build (SLUS-20506) if you want the North American release, the Europe build (SLES-51620) for English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian support, or the three-part PAL ISO if you need a full disc image for PC emulation.

Does Black & Bruised work on PS4?

It may, through the PS2 Classics route, but compatibility varies by title. Check the PS2 Classics Emulator Compatibility List for PS4 before you install, since some games run perfectly while others have major issues.

How many fighters and arenas are in the game?

There are 19 playable characters and 21 arenas. The fighters' stories interlock, so you follow multiple perspectives across the campaign.
