What Dishonored 2 Actually Plays Like

You pick Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin, and the story pushes you into Karnaca, a sun-bleached coastal city built on dust, whaling money, and old grudges. In our playthrough, the choice mattered more than we expected — Emily's Far Reach and Shadow Walk feel different from Corvo's Blink and Possession, so a second run is genuinely a different game, not a reskin. The level design is the real star: the Clockwork Mansion rearranges rooms while you're inside it, and the Dust District lets you solve a faction problem through stealth, combat, or straight-up social manipulation.

Chaos is tracked the whole way. High chaos fills the streets with bloodflies and shifts the ending, while low chaos keeps the city quieter and gives you cleaner stealth routes. We tested both approaches on the same mission and the difference in guard density and NPC dialogue was obvious within minutes.

The CUSA03603 EUR builds (v1.07 from @Opoisso893/Golemnight and from @Fugazi) ship with English, French, and German. The CUSA03642 USA build at v1.07 adds Portuguese Brazilian and Spanish Latin, and it also has a mirror set if the first host is slow. Older v1.05 packages for CUSA03642 and CUSA03604 are still listed for anyone who needs a specific base version.

One quirk we ran into: only English can be selected directly from the in-game Settings menu. If you want French or German, you have to change your console's system language before launching — the game follows the system setting rather than offering a full in-menu language picker. That's not a bug in the download, it's how the build was authored, but it trips people up.

About the Imperial Assassin's Pack

The DLC pack doesn't unlock new missions. It gives you a stack of bone charms, runes, and coin to spend on early upgrades. Here's the part that confuses first-time players: the items don't appear in your inventory right away. You have to get aboard the ship called "The Dreadful Wale," wake up after the dream sequence, and then pick the items up from the desk and near the door inside the cabin. We missed them on our first run because we walked straight out of the room. Check the desk before you leave.

If a host is slow, use the mirror links on the USA entry; we found the Akia and Mega mirrors responded faster than the primary during our test window.
