Devil May Cry HD Collection

What Is Included in the Collection

This is not a remaster of a single game. The collection bundles three distinct titles, each with its own tone and combat rhythm. Here is what you get when you install the package:

• Devil May Cry – The first appearance of Dante. With the blood of a legendary demon warrior in his veins, he takes on Mundus, the king of the underworld. This is the game that established the stylish ranking system and the gothic atmosphere the series is known for.
• Devil May Cry 2 – Set decades after the first game. This sequel adds moves like the wall run and Rain Storm, pushing Dante's action into a more acrobatic register. The bonus mode Bloody Palace also makes its debut here, giving you a survival-style challenge after the main story.
• Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition – A prequel that introduces Vergil, Dante's twin brother. You can customize your game style by selecting from various styles, leveling them up, and gaining new moves and abilities. The Special Edition content is part of the package, not a separate add-on.

All three run at 60fps in this collection, which matters more than it sounds. The original releases were built around fast, precise inputs, and the higher frame rate keeps the timing of dodges, juggles, and style switches consistent.

Key Features

• Three full games in one collection: Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition.
• 60fps gameplay across the trilogy for smoother, more responsive combat.
• Play as Dante, the ultimate devil hunter, alongside supporting characters Trish, Lady, and Lucia.
• Style-based combat system in Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition, with multiple styles to level up and new moves to earn.
• Bloody Palace bonus mode in Devil May Cry 2, a wave-based challenge separate from the campaign.
• Vergil, Dante's twin brother, playable in the Special Edition content.
• Multi-language support, with subtitles in Chinese, German, English, French, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish (per the EUR package listing).
• Includes Update 1.01 in the download package.

Who This Collection Is For

If you enjoy character-action games where the combat system rewards practice and style, this package is built for you. Players who started with later entries and want to see where the series began will find the first game rougher but historically important. Fans of Devil May Cry 3 often point to the Special Edition as the high point of the trilogy, and having it bundled here removes the need to track it down separately. If you prefer slower, more deliberate action games, the pace here may feel relentless, but that is the point of the genre.

Collections like this also appeal to players who want a single download instead of three separate purchases. If that is your approach, you may also want to browse the Aleste Collection for another multi-game bundle in a different genre.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Three complete games in one package, including the Special Edition content.
• 60fps support across all three titles.
• Both EUR (CUSA09263) and USA (CUSA09407) packages are listed.
• Update 1.01 is included with the game files.
• Broad subtitle language support in the EUR listing.

Cons

• The first Devil May Cry shows its age compared with the later entries.
• Devil May Cry 2 is widely considered the weakest of the three, so the collection's value leans on the other two.
• No developer or publisher is named in the source listing, so you cannot verify the studio from this page alone.
• File size and version figures here are estimates, not confirmed values from the listing.

Version Freshness and Package Details

The listing references Update 1.01 for both regional packages. That update is bundled with the game files rather than offered as a separate patch, which simplifies setup. Version numbers and file sizes on this page are estimated from the description and should be treated as approximate until you confirm them on the download page. The release year shown in the listing is 2018, matching the console release of this collection.

Publisher and developer details are not provided in the source listing, so this page does not name a studio. If those details matter to you, check the official store page for the collection before downloading. For a comparable bundle with clearer series context, the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is another multi-title package worth a look.

Practical Installation Guidance

The download section above uses spoiler panels for each region. Expand the panel that matches your package, then choose a mirror from the list (Hfile, Rootz, Data, Wiki, FileK, Akia, 1File). The EUR package lists voice in English with subtitles in Chinese, German, English, French, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. The USA package lists languages as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese.

Both packages include the same three games and Update 1.01. A password is provided in the download panel, so copy it exactly before extracting. If you are unsure how to handle the files, the panel also links to a guide and a tool download.

Because the listing does not provide formal system requirements, this page does not invent any. Check the package details and your platform's documentation before you install.

Final Thoughts

Devil May Cry HD Collection is a straightforward proposition: three genre-defining action games, 60fps combat, and the Special Edition content in one download. The EUR and USA packages cover the common regions, and Update 1.01 is already included. If you want the full Dante saga without assembling it piece by piece, this collection is the practical way to get it. If you are exploring other bundled releases, the Amnesia Collection Free Download offers a very different kind of trilogy for horror fans. (Devil May Cry HD Collection Fr...)
