Adventures of Pip, is an action-platformer with a fresh gameplay twist inside a retro 32-bit world. After downloading and running the package, the first thing I noticed was how quickly the game gets you into the action. There's no long cinematic intro; you're a pixel in a cave within seconds. The form-switching is bound to a simple input, and the game never hides its rules from you. If you can't reach a ledge, you're probably in the wrong form.
Where it falls short: the story is thin. The Skeleton Queen is a goal, not a character.
