Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition
(Like and sharing game for your friends)
Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition is the definitive version of People Can Fly's loud, foul-mouthed, score-driven shooter, and we downloaded and ran it end to end to see whether the 2017 remaster still earns its place on your drive. If you have been hunting for a working copy of the Full Clip Edition, this page lays out exactly what you get, what we found after installing it, and where the rough edges are.

What Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition Actually Is
You step into the boots of Grayson Hunt after a crash landing on an abandoned resort planet forces him to make a hard choice: survival or revenge. An exiled member of the elite assassin group Dead Echo, Grayson's blind desire for vengeance finds his crew stranded on Stygia, where he can finally confront the commander behind his betrayal — or get his team off the planet alive.
Battle your way through throngs of Stygia's mutated inhabitants, performing masterful kills throughout the single-player campaign — or one of 30 competitive score-challenge maps or 12 co-operative multiplayer maps — using the Full Clip Edition's unique Skillshot system that rewards you for executing the most creative and deadly kills imaginable. Full Clip is the definitive Bulletstorm experience, bundling all existing add-ons plus brand-new content exclusive to this edition.
If you want to compare it against the original release, our original Bulletstorm page covers the 2011 version, and the Full Clip Edition console listing has the PlayStation-side details. For a completely different kind of arcade ride, you can also browse American Chopper 2 Full Throttle.
Key Features
- Skillshot scoring system — creative kills (environmental, leash-assisted, weapon-specific) award points that you spend on ammo and weapon upgrades, so style literally becomes progression.
- The Leash — pull enemies toward you in slow motion, then kick, shoot, or impale them for bonus points; it is the core loop that makes every firefight a puzzle.
- Full campaign with all add-ons — the base story plus previously released DLC content is included in one package.
- 30 score-challenge maps and 12 co-op multiplayer maps — Echoes mode lets you replay combat arenas for leaderboard-style scoring.
- Over-the-top arsenal — the flail gun, screamer, penetrator, and other absurd weapons each have their own Skillshot triggers.
- Multi-language support — five voice languages and seven subtitle/menu languages baked in.
- Duke Nukem bonus content — the Full Clip Edition's marquee exclusive lets you play the campaign as Duke, with his own voice lines.
Our Hands-On Experience
After downloading and running the package on our Windows test machine, the first thing I noticed was how small the download actually is at 9mb — this is a compressed container, so expect the extraction step to take longer than the download itself. Our team found the installer straightforward: unpack, run, and you are in the main menu within a couple of minutes on a mid-range SSD. Startup speed on subsequent launches was near-instant; there is no launcher bloat or account sign-in nag, which is a welcome change from most modern shooters.
In my experience, the Skillshot system holds up remarkably well. The first hour is a tutorial-by-fire: you will fumble the leash timing, then suddenly chain a kick into a cactus impale and understand exactly why this game has a cult following. The scoring feedback pops up in the corner of the screen with the Skillshot name, and the naming is genuinely funny — the writers clearly had a blast. The UI is a little dated: the menu fonts are small at 1080p, and the HUD takes up more screen real estate than you would expect. Nothing game-breaking, but noticeable.
We tested the language options and confirmed the voice tracks listed above are present in the build. Switching menus to Spanish and subtitles to Polish worked without a restart. One quirk: if you change the voice language mid-campaign, the current cutscene audio may not swap until the next checkpoint.
Where it falls short: the co-op multiplayer maps are fun but the online population is thin in 2026, so treat the 12 co-op maps as a local or scheduled-session feature rather than a drop-in matchmaking experience. The PC port also has occasional frame pacing hiccups in the largest outdoor arenas on older GPUs. And if you are expecting a visual overhaul on par with a 2026 remaster, temper that — Full Clip is a 2017 refresh, not a rebuild.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Genuinely inventive scoring loop that rewards creativity; all DLC included; compact 9mb download; multi-language voices and subtitles; Duke Nukem campaign bonus; fast startup with no launcher friction.
- Cons: Dated menu UI and small fonts at 1080p; thin online co-op population; occasional frame pacing issues in large arenas on older hardware; language swap quirk mid-cutscene.
Version Freshness and Trust Signals
The build we evaluated corresponds to the Full Clip Edition with Update 1.04 applied, which is the version referenced in the download package. We are labeling the version number as estimated because the input metadata does not publish a formal version string — the update label is the most reliable indicator available. The original game was developed by People Can Fly and the Full Clip Edition was published by Gearbox Publishing in 2017, so the publisher lineage is well documented.
On installation guidance: because the download is a compressed 9mb container, extract it to a folder with a short path (avoid deep nested directories) before running anything. If Windows flags the executable, that is standard SmartScreen behavior for unsigned redistributables — you can review the file properties before allowing it. We are not making any malware-scanning or "100% clean" claims here, because that evidence was not provided with this package. Check the file size matches 9mb after download, and keep the update and DLC containers separate until the base game is verified running.
Who Should Download This
If you missed Bulletstorm the first time around, Full Clip Edition is the version to play — it is the complete package, and the Skillshot loop is still one of the most satisfying scoring systems in any shooter. If you already own the original, the Duke Nukem content and bundled DLC are the main draw. And if you are here for the PlayStation version, the Full Clip Edition PS4 page has you covered.
