What BLUE REFLECTION Quartet Includes

The collection is built around four works that share a world and a cast of magical Reflectors. Each entry approaches the same themes from a different angle, and the Reference section ties them together with chronological flowcharts and character relationship charts that span the entire series. If you are new to the franchise, the Reference database is the fastest way to understand how events line up before you start any single game.

BLUE REFLECTION

The original console game follows an injured former ballerina who uses her powers as a magical Reflector to form bonds with others and confront a threat to the world. In Quartet, textures have been updated to high-resolution versions, and new visual effects such as glistening water add atmosphere to the environments. Autosave is included, which makes the experience more forgiving than the original release.

BLUE REFLECTION: RAY

RAY began as an anime about magical Reflectors clashing over conflicting beliefs and emotions. This version condenses that story into a 3D game with the major characters rendered in three dimensions. You follow Hiori and Ruka as they explore the Common and re-experience their memories on the way to confronting a student from another academy who is trying to recreate the world. New short stories expand on the anime's events, and a new prologue and epilogue connect this entry to the rest of the series.

BLUE REFLECTION: SUN

SUN started as a mobile game about a team of students living in a dying world while holding on to hope for the future. Quartet remakes that story as a console game using the systems of BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light, which recreates the memorable battles of the original. Twenty-four new character events have been added alongside the main story, and the original prologue and epilogue are included to connect SUN to the other works.

BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light

Second Light follows a group of students with no memories who find themselves in a strange world. Through their adventures they look inward, regain their memories, and uncover the truth about where they are. This release adds eight characters from RAY and SUN who can join you in battle, and those characters also appear alongside Yuzuki and Lime in Photo Mode. Battle speed is increased, movement while exploring is faster, and events can be fast-forwarded.

Key Features

  • Four connected BLUE REFLECTION stories in a single collection, supervised by illustrator Mel Kishida.
  • High-resolution texture updates and new water effects in the original BLUE REFLECTION.
  • RAY presented as a condensed 3D game with new short stories and a new prologue and epilogue.
  • SUN remade with Second Light's battle systems, plus 24 new character events.
  • Eight RAY and SUN characters join Second Light's battles and Photo Mode.
  • Quality-of-life updates: autosave, faster battle speed, faster exploration movement, and event fast-forwarding.
  • Reference database with chronological flowcharts and cross-series character relationship charts.
  • Gallery of official artwork created by Mel Kishida.

Pros & Cons

  • Pros: All four entries in one place, so you can move between them without switching releases. The Reference database makes the timeline and relationships easier to follow. The quality-of-life updates in Second Light and the original game reduce friction for returning players.
  • Cons: RAY and SUN are condensed or remade versions rather than direct ports, so players who know the originals will notice differences. The collection leans on story and character bonds over fast action, which will not suit everyone. The download listed here is a small 2MB package, so check the file details before you install.

Version Freshness and Publisher Details

The version listed for this release is v01.000.000, which is an estimate based on the available description rather than a confirmed build number. The publisher and developer field lists psp, and the license is marked as Free. Because the package is small at 2MB, treat it as a download entry rather than a full game image, and confirm the file details before you proceed. If you need help with the download process, the guide links included in the download section walk through the steps.

For related titles in a similar mood, you can look at A Memoir Blue for a short narrative experience, or browse Black Clover Quartet Knights if you want another quartet-themed game. Fans of retro-style releases may also enjoy ACA NeoGeo Blues Journey.

Who This Collection Is For

BLUE REFLECTION Quartet suits players who follow character-driven RPGs and want the full series context in one place. If you have played Second Light and wondered how RAY and SUN fit in, the Reference charts and the new prologues and epilogues answer that directly. If you are starting fresh, the original game's autosave and updated textures make it a reasonable entry point, and the Reference database helps you keep the timeline straight as you move between titles.

The collection is less suited to players looking for a single long campaign. Each entry is a distinct story, and RAY and SUN are condensed or remade rather than presented in their original forms. Expect a mix of exploration, turn-based-style battles in Second Light and SUN, and a heavy emphasis on relationships and memory.

Installation Guidance

The download section above links to the available packages, and the guide links in that section cover the general download and tool steps. The operating system field for this listing is Windows / iOS, and the file size is 2MB. Keep the package in a folder you can find easily, and follow the guide links if any step is unclear.
