Assassins Creed Chronicles interface on Windows / Mac

Assassins Creed Chronicles is a three-part 2.5D stealth collection that pulls the Assassin's Creed universe sideways — literally. Instead of free-roaming rooftops in third person, you get side-scrolling corridors of shadow, ledge, and blade work across Ming Dynasty China, the Sikh Empire in India, and post-Revolution Russia. We pulled the CUSA03440 EUR package, installed it, and played through all three chapters to give you a straight answer on whether this collection still holds up.

If you want the file, the download section below has the v1.02 build (and the older v1.01 for anyone troubleshooting compatibility). Both are EUR region packages with multi-language menus and subtitles.

What's Inside the Collection

The package bundles three separate campaigns, and each one has its own art direction, so it never feels like the same game reskinned three times. Our team found that the chapter order matters less than you'd think — you can jump between them — but playing China first makes the difficulty curve feel natural.

Chronicles: China — Shao Jun

Set as the Ming Dynasty begins to crumble, this chapter follows Shao Jun returning home to rebuild the Brotherhood. The visual language is ink-wash painting: reds, blacks, and parchment textures, with brushstroke silhouettes for enemies. In my experience this is the most readable of the three for new players, because the stealth lanes are wide and the hiding spots are generously placed.

Chronicles: India — Arbaaz Mir

The Sikh Empire chapter stars Arbaaz Mir, and it leans into color — turquoise, gold, and deep shadow. This is where the parkour gets genuinely tricky. You'll find multi-tier vertical sections that punish sloppy timing, and the guard patrol patterns are noticeably tighter than in China.

Chronicles: Russia — Nikolai Orelov

Aftermath of Red October, and the palette goes stark: red propaganda posters against grey snow. Nikolai's section introduces the most aggressive enemy density of the three. After downloading and running this chapter, I noticed the checkpoint spacing is more forgiving here, which is a smart call given how often you'll get spotted.

Key Features

  • Three full campaigns — China, India, and Russia, each with distinct art direction, level design, and enemy behavior.
  • 2.5D stealth gameplay — you move on a 2D plane but the environments have depth, so cover, ledges, and verticality all matter.
  • Three playable Assassins — Shao Jun, Arbaaz Mir, and Nikolai Orelov, each with different tools.
  • Shadow-based stealth — light and dark zones change how visible you are; extinguishing lamps is a core tactic.
  • Parkour on a 2D plane — wall runs, ledge grabs, and chained traversal across multi-level architecture.
  • Score and rank system — you're graded per level on stealth, speed, and combat avoidance, which pushes replay.
  • Multi-language support — English and Russian voice tracks, ten subtitle and menu languages.
  • Two build options — v1.02 for current play, v1.01 as a fallback if you hit issues.

How It Actually Plays

The core loop is simple to describe and hard to master. You study a room, find the shadow path, and move. Combat exists, but the game actively discourages it — fighting drops your score and usually gets you surrounded. We tested a full combat run on the China chapter and finished with a D rank, versus an A rank on a pure stealth pass of the same level. That tells you exactly what the designers intended.

Where the collection shines is level readability. Because the camera is locked to a side view, you can see an entire guard rotation at once, which turns each screen into a small puzzle. Where it falls short is that the puzzle solutions can become rigid — there's usually one clean route, and improvisation often means restarting from the last checkpoint. On the India chapter specifically, a few vertical sections have checkpoints spaced far enough apart that a mistake costs you two or three minutes of careful movement.

Startup and load times on our test machine were quick — the collection doesn't front-load a heavy launcher, and chapter switching took a few seconds. The menus are plain but functional, and the language options are all exposed in one screen rather than buried in submenus.

Pros & Cons

  • Pros: Three genuinely different art styles; tight, readable stealth design; generous language support; strong replay value from the scoring system; runs smoothly without a bulky launcher.
  • Cons: Rigid level solutions punish improvisation; checkpoint spacing in India is inconsistent; combat feels like a penalty rather than a choice; no developer credits are listed in this release package, so you can't verify the build against an official source.

Version Freshness and Practical Notes

The listing offers two builds: v1.02, which is the current one we recommend, and v1.01, which is still useful if you run into a compatibility snag. The v1.02 package is credited to @opoisson893/Golemnigh and uses the password DLPSGAME.COM. The v1.01 build is credited to @Playable and uses the password Andrelo. A separate mirror set for v1.01 is credited to @Playable & hako and uses the password hako — handy if your first download source is slow or unavailable.

One honest caveat: this release listing does not include malware scanning results, publisher verification, or an official checksum. We can't claim it's clean, so we won't. What we can tell you is what's in the package and how it behaved on our machine. If you're cautious, run the files through your own scanner before installing, and prefer the v1.02 build since it's the more recent of the two.

If you enjoy this style of condensed, chapter-based Assassin's Creed content, the older Assassins Creed 2 Game of The Year Edition is a good companion download, and Adams Venture Chronicles scratches a similar episodic itch.

Final Take

Assassins Creed Chronicles is worth your time if you like stealth puzzles more than open-world sprawl. The three chapters give you roughly a dozen hours of careful play on a first pass, more if you chase A ranks. The v1.02 build is the one to grab, the language support is broader than most releases of this size, and the only real friction is the occasional rigid level design. Grab it from the section above, keep the password handy, and start with China.
